Our advisers have extensive experience in RAMS for both rolling stock and infrastructure, and good knowledge of railway legislation and relevant standards (EN 50126, 50128 and 50129). They are used to working with suppliers throughout the procurement process, including specification, tender evaluation, RAMS follow-up, RAM and hazard logs, analysis, and management of the RAMS work in projects.
We assist with advice and support in all subject areas related to the safety and quality area. We have extensive experience in leading the RAMS work in projects and follow-up of similar work with suppliers so that all relevant requirements given in the railway legislation are met. Furthermore, we have good experience with case processing against the Norwegian Railway Authority and follow-up of 3rd party controllers (Assessor, Assessing Unit and Technical Control Body).
Our experience extends from planning relevant RAMS activities for the project, including establishing relevant management documents in each project phase such as:
- RAMS implementation plan
- RAM and safety plans
- requirements basis and verification and validation plan
- hazard logs
- safety certificate for design and execution
We have experience in preparing or peer-checking safety certificates for generic and specific application under signal. We also have experience in specifying requirements related to RAMS towards suppliers.
Within safety adviser and risk analytical safety, we have solid expertise in facilitating quantitative and qualitative risk assessments, including hazard identification, risk estimation and measure assessment. Documentation of the risk assessment in the risk assessment report and hazard log follow-up. We have good experience in facilitating RCM analyzes, verifying preventive and corrective maintenance and compiling maintenance programs, which are relevant tasks for a RAM analyst. We have also held several courses within the subject areas HTA analyzes and FMECA, and how RAM analyzes are documented and followed up in RAM logs.
In several assignments, our consultants have assisted the operating organizations with performing risk assessments and following up deviations and unwanted events. We have also worked closely with the operating organization in carrying out RAMS analyzes and in handing over development projects for operation to ensure that safety-related user conditions other RAMS-related conditions are taken care of.
We have assisted customers with the establishment of maintenance agreements and implementation of competitive tendering of maintenance. In one of the projects, we participated in the mobilization phase leading up to the start of traffic, and in the first year of operation. We have also experience in revising a maintenance contract in connection with the triggering a option and extension of a maintenance contract. We have further extencive experience with planning and execution of maintenance verifications, including review of maintenance instructions. Preparation of new maintenance activities and instructions for small and large modifications.
We have extensive experience in procuring cleaning services for rolling stock, from establishing a contract, requirements specification, conducting competitions and on-boarding / commissioning. This applies to interior and exterior cleaning and other preparation activities.
We assist customers with the establishment of a ISO9001 quality system and optimization of internal processes.
