Development of a depot with workshop, cleaning facilities and train stabling
RailAdvice is assisting the Fornebu Line Project Group with workshop design.
Fornebubanen er en ny t-banestrekning under prosjektering, som vil gå fra Majorstuen til Fornebu. Strekningen er ca. 8km lang, og hele strekningen ligger i tunell inkludert de 6 stasjonene på strekningen. Fornebu base befinner seg ytterst på strekningen, og hele basen vil ligge under bakken.
Fornebu Base vil inneholde verkstedspor med løftebukker og traverskran, lager, varemottak, oppstalling av gule maskiner, vaskeanlegg, graffitifjerningsanlegg, spor for innvendig vask og renhold, samt hensettingsspor.
Vår seniorrådgiver Marcus Marstrander har vært involvert i prosjekteringen av Fornebu Base fra januar 2023. RailAdvice har deltatt i tverrfaglig prosjektering av basen, kravspesifikasjon for utstyr, ivaretagelse av brukerperspektiver og utvikling av konkurransegrunnlag for bygging. RailAdvice er underleverandør innen Metro-faget til Prosjekteringsgruppen Fornebubanen (PGF) som er et samarbeid mellom COWI og Multiconsult.
Marcus Marstrander bidrar med tverrfaglig koordinering internt i PGF, koordinering mot byggherren Etaten Fornebubanen (FOB), samt brukerinvolvering for Sporveien som skal ta over anlegget ved ferdigstillelse.
Med RailAdvice’s kjernekompetanse i jernbanefaget har vi også bistått prosjekteringsledelsen med forståelse av drift, trafikk og vedlikehold av rullende materiell.
Prosjektet gjennomføres i samarbeid med Jotne Mobility.
The Fornebu Line is a new metro line under construction, which will run from Majorstuen to Fornebu. The line is approximately 8 km long, and the entire line is in a tunnel including 6 stations. The workshop is located at the far end of the line, and the entire base will be underground.
The workshop at Fornebu will contain tracks with lifting trestles and a traverse crane, warehouse, goods receipt, storage of yellow machines, cleaning facilities, graffiti removal facilities, tracks for interior cleaning, and storage tracks.
Our senior consultant Marcus Marstrander has been involved in the design phase of the workshop since January 2023. RailAdvice has participated in the interdisciplinary design of the workshop, requirements and specification of equipment and the development of tender documents. RailAdvice is a subcontractor within the area of Metro, and the Engineering Group Fornebubanen (PGF) consists of a collaboration between COWI and Multiconsult.
Marcus Marstrander contributes with interdisciplinary coordination internally within PGF, coordination with the developer Etaten Fornebubanen (FOB), as well as user involvement for Sporveien, which will take over the facility upon completion.
With RailAdvice's core competence within the railway sector, we have also assisted design-management with an understanding of operation, traffic and maintenance of rolling stock.
The project is being carried out in collaboration with Jotne Mobility.
